Montelena House Party 2013
Saturday, January 26, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM (PST)
We all had such a great time last year at our first-ever House Party event that we've decided to do it again - same time, same place. On January, 26, 2013, we’ll open up the Chateau so that our guests can once again have the run of the place for one fantastic night. Dancing, drinking, eating – there will be food and wine aplenty. We're even bringing back last year's hit band, Wonderbread5, for an encore performance in the cellar. This year's theme? Fire and Ice - we’ll be serving up culinary adventures at tempting temperatures that you can enjoy with Montelena classics, special wines from our library collection and even a few limited-production winery-only wines. New this year, there will be a "Salon de Vin" where you can stock up on special wine bottlings and larger formats. Join us for the second annual House Party - we'll dance late into the night, eat delicious food to our heart's content and savor some of the best wines that Chateau Montelena has ever produced. We hope to see you there.

Founded in 1882 by Alfred Tubbs, Chateau Montelena Winery is currently owned and operated by the Barrett family, who purchased the property in 1972. Perhaps best known for the 1976 Paris Tasting when the little-known American winery triumphed over the French in a blind tasting, the winery is currently recognized for producing world-class wines with the Barrett family still at the helm.
